Dual Nature of Light
Ålgården, Borås, Sweden
My mind walks with my legs and my legs walk with it’s knowledge and pacing of balance.
A bodily labour that produces nothing but thoughts, experiences, arrivals. The mind is a landscape of sorts and walking is one way to traverse it. Echoing a series of thoughts through the rhythm of walking in the rhythm of thinking. On foot, everything is connected outside of interiors.
The path traced is filled with boundless energies of growth, of light, of winds and of sounds that reach out from above and underground. Feeling the land I become connected with the surrounding space, forgetting I am human momentarily, and just a body moving through a space, I become the land. By means of tracing it with a copper plate, I become fully present of an interaction and the existence of time taking place through recording a moment of being present.
It is still possible that human presence, so crowded and dominating elsewhere is still small when measured against the immensity of quiet places. Reflecting and reinventing the place in which my body is situated.
